DAILY DEVOTION

Disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ must develop the daily habit of Following the example of Jesus Christ while on earth in human form found it necessary to Spent time with God on a Personal Basis in a Quiet Place to avoid disturbance. This is is often known and called different names such as Quite Time/ Personal Devotion etc. (The Bible New Testament Book of Mark Chapter 1 verse 35).  Observing Personal Devotion/Quite Time will give Daily God refreshing to our Spirit, Soul and Body and Our Lives will enjoy Godly Direction, Peace, Joy Prosperity which comes from God’s Presence as we continue to spend time with Him on  a daily Personal Basis.

Suggested Things to Include in Your Daily Devotion/Quite Time with God

(a) Sing Praises, Saying Thank You to God for various things God has done for you, your family, friends including saving Our Souls from Sin, Death, Hell, Satan, Poverty, Diseases and Demonic Oppression.

(b) Reading, Memorizing Bible Verses and Studying the Bible Day and Night. You Can Start with the New Testament Bible Book such as Matthew or John. Reading about 5 Chapters of the Bible every Day will help an individual to read the entire 66 Books Bible (Both Old Testament and New Testament) in a Year.

(c) Prayer: Which is Talking to God using the Name of Jesus Christ as the Basis to expect answer to the prayers and Listening for God’s response to our Taking to Him in prayer by speaking back into our Hearts, or impressing certain Bible Verses/ Scriptures/ Passage we have read, giving deeper insights through such Bible Scriptures/Passage about issues we present before God in Prayer. Here are examples of some things we can present before God in Prayer; We can Pray about situations we are going through, our needs, the needs of others, praying for the Growth of God’s Church.

The key point to note is that Prayer is Talking and Listening to God Our Heavenly Father using the Name Of Our Lord Jesus Christ as the  Access Code into God’s Presence and asking for the Help of the Holy Spirit to teach us how to pray in the right manner and what to pray about.

To Assist you in CONSTRUCTING YOUR WORD’S IN PRAYER you can say something like

“Father God I come to you In My Lord Jesus name” as an example TO START YOUR PRAYER

“In Jesus Name I Pray (Amen) can be used TO END YOUR PRAYER

(Please Use your own words from your heart to Pray

Feel free to express yourself before your Heavenly Father, Asking for the Help of the Master Teacher Holy Spirit in Jesus Name as you Pray.)

(d) Increase your faith by Watching and Listening to Gospel Music Cd’s, MP3’s , Video, DVD’s and MP4’s, Christian Radio and Christian TV Channels, Christian You Tube Programmes etc. based on God Word (the Bible) and Bible Based Music, films, Preaching Messages from Christian Preachers/Ministers/Apostles/Prophets/Evangelist/Pastors/Teachers.

(e) Speaking out regularly Bible Verses as a Positive Confession/Declaration over your Life and Situation.

(f) Fast Regularly (Not necessary daily) help you create more time to be promptly sensitive to God The Father / Our Lord Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit.

Fasting is a Christian Discipline that involves abstaining from what we enjoy most such as food, water watching  non spiritual development  tv programmes, Games, for period of time in order to spend more time in Prayer  and Word Fellowship with God The Father/Our Lord Jesus/Holy Spirit.

THE Daily Bible Reading Plan.

The Aim of this Bible Reading Plan is to encourage each Disciple of Jesus to read at least Five (5) Chapters of the Bible Daily in addition to any devotion Guide Scrpitures they chose to use . The Bible Reading Plan Starts from 1st January of the Year and Ends 31 December of the Year.  Starting with New Testament Bible Book of Matthew.
